Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the My Tanker platform (the “Service”) — including the My Tanker mobile applications and website. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to register a customer or driver account. B2B accounts must be registered by an authorised representative of an entity holding a valid Kuwait Commercial Registration (CR).

2. Service description

My Tanker is a digital platform connecting customers with verified water tanker drivers and fleet operators across Kuwait. We act as the facilitator; the drivers and operators perform the deliveries.

3. Pricing and payment

  • Final price is presented in the app before order confirmation. Once confirmed, the price does not change.
  • All amounts are in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) with three-decimal precision.
  • Supported payment methods: KNET, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, in-app wallet, cash on delivery (spot orders only), and B2B postpaid invoicing on approved accounts.
  • A service fee may be added per order; if applicable it is shown separately on the receipt.

4. Verification and quality

All drivers and trucks are verified through Civil ID, driving license, vehicle registration, tanker fitness certificate, and MEW water permit. Documents are tracked with expiry; expired documents auto-suspend the affected truck or driver until renewed.

5. Cancellations

Customers may cancel before the driver accepts the order at no charge. After acceptance, cancellation may incur a fee depending on driver progress.

6. Complaints

Complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery via the in-app complaint flow. Categories include late arrival, quantity dispute, quality issue, and driver behaviour. Quality complaints (contamination) trigger immediate driver suspension pending investigation.

See the Refund Policy for full details. Spot orders that are undelivered are fully refunded. Package refunds follow the package-specific rules described in that policy.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its operation.
  • Do not register multiple customer accounts to evade limits or anti-fraud controls.
  • Drivers must not bypass the platform to settle outside the system.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Tanker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount paid by you to My Tanker for the order giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Disputes are subject to Kuwait courts.
